Neuromuscular Dental Concepts
ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING PROGRAM
These programs are advanced
one-on-one mentoring programs for the treating clinician and his practice,
desiring to acquired advanced skills, knowledge and training in an in office
environment with Dr. Clayton Chan.
COMPUTERIZED
INSTRUMENTATION MENTORING PROGRAM
ADVANCED TRAINING IN COMPUTERIZED ELECTRO-DIAGNOSTIC INSTRUMENTATION in the
GENERAL DENTAL PRACTICE using the Myotronics K6-I:
- Computerized Mandibular Scanning (CMS)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Transcutaneous Electro-Neural Stimulation (TENS)
- Sonography (SONO)
For those that desire to refine their treatment skills and increase there level
of understanding in mastering the use of bio-instrumentation. Protocols, scan
interpretation and techniques are reviewed and taught for the neuromuscular
dental clinician. Neuromuscular diagnosis and treatment protocols will be
presented. This is not an introductory level course.

THE ADVANCED NEUROMUSCULAR
DENTIST MENTORING PROGRAM
TRAINING THE NEUROMUSCULAR DENTAL CLINICIAN:
A hands on program designed to give the treating clinician the skills, knowledge
and occlusal awareness of treating the paining tooth. Implementation of the
neuromuscular principles and concepts in diagnosis and treatment planning the
simple to complex occlusal cases. Teaching the principles of occlusion from a
neuromuscular perspective and at the same time understanding the gnathological
skills and techniques to carry out effective predictable treatment.

TMD/ ORTHO MENTORING
PROGRAM
TRAINING THE NEUROMUSCULAR TMD/ ORTHO CLINICIAN
Implementing advanced neuromuscular/ TMD principles and concepts in diagnosis
and treatment planning using computerized electro-diagnostic instrumentation.
Perfecting the skills in orthotic delivery for predictability, consistency in
handling the TMD/ paining patient. A protocol using neuromuscular computerized
techniques are presented to reduce treatment time and lessen patient visits.
Prerequiste: Owner of a K6-I
STAFF MENTORING PROGRAM
TRAINING FOR THE OFFICE STAFF
Implementing office administrative, dental assisting and hygiene protocols,
skills, understanding and rationale to support a neuromuscular dental practice.
Implementing initial diagnostic protocols for the clinical staff and auxillaries.
Review of administrative concerns in handling the neuromuscular patient's needs
and concerns.
